Laurie on the Par-dessus la haie podcast

Laurie FAVIER-BARTHELAT (Agriculture, 2015, Beauvais), recounted her entrepreneurial journey in the podcast "Par-dessus la haie", a series dedicated to rural entrepreneurship, produced by Adefpat as part of the OCCRE program.

Originally from Clermont-Ferrand (63), Laurie chose to leave the city to settle in the Lot region, in search of a more rural lifestyle. She talks about her background, including her years of study at UniLaSalle Beauvais and her experience in banking. Feeling the need for a profession with more human relations, she decided to retrain.

The catalyst came during a vacation in the Lot region (46), when she noticed the absence of any equestrian equipment stores. After a market study and several months of administrative procedures to find a banking partner, she opened an 80 m² store, aimed at club customers. Finding no franchise ready to support her, she launched her own brand: CAVAL'Lot.
