Products that make a splash

Charles GRANSAR (Agriculture, 2013, Beauvais), agricultural engineer and founder of "La Bergerie du Ménillet" in Bornel, was recently featured in the Observateur de Beauvais for the quality of his dairy products. This article highlights his work as a sheep farmer and his expertise in the artisanal production of cheeses and yogurts.

Together with his wife Marie LEROY (Agriculture, 2013, Beauvais), Charles breeds over 80 Lacaune dairy ewes and transforms their milk into cheese and yoghurt, sold on the local market.Their work was crowned with success at the meilleur produit du terroir competition in October 2023, where they won a gold medal for their ewe's milk tomme and a silver medal for their yoghurt (news item 16/10/2023).
