- Why did you choose to study in France?

I chose France because it's a great country in the heart of Europe, which opened the doors for me to discover Europe, French culture and languages (French and English).

Thanks to this experience, I've met people from all over the world and learned to see life from another angle.

But most importantly, I met my wife in France, with whom we've been in a relationship for over 4 years, and we're currently living happily together in the United States.

- At the end of your studies, did you stay in France?

At the end of my studies, I returned to my country of origin (Chile), because my family had suffered a lot from COVID and emotionally, I decided it was better to be with them at that time.

- What has been your career path since graduating ?

As a student at ESIEE Amiens, I did my internships at UPJV and Enedis. Then, in Chile, I worked at SDI Ingeniería as a specialist in Control and Protection of Source Substations. Next month, I'll be starting a new job at GE Vernova as a FACTS equipment control engineer in the USA.

- How do you imagine your future?

I'm currently living in the USA with my wife, and have found a job with General Electric Vernova. I plan to develop my skills, knowledge and experience in this new challenge.
