Appointments - Nadège STEINER named Chevalier in the National Order of Agricultural Merit.

The conditions of award, defined by decree^no. 59-729 ofJune 15, 1959, state that "this order is intended to reward men and women who have rendered outstanding services to agriculture.

To be admitted to the Order, applicants must enjoy their civil rights, and provide proof of ten years' real service to agriculture:

either in the activities mentioned in article L.311-1 of the Code rural et de la pêche maritime (French rural and maritime fishing code), or in services, industries and other related activities, notably in the agri-food, gastronomy or forestry-wood industries;
public service;
or through scientific work, agricultural publications, or any other activity promoting the agricultural world.
