Sandrine at the heart of a booming industry
Sandrine DUFOUR (Energy Engineering & Digital Systems, 2021, Amiens), talked about her career withIdex. Operations manager at the Estrée-Mons plant (80), she shared her experience in this human-sized company (around fifty people).
In her role, Sandrine oversees a plant where the energy produced on site is valorized locally, as is the case with the Bonduelle plant. This model embodies Idex's promise to reconcile performance and positive environmental impact.
The Alumni highlighted the technical richness of her profession. She also explained how initial training and work-study programs enable students to develop distinct skills, a very interesting subject for second-year students who will soon have to make their choice.
Gauthier GOMEL (Energy Engineering & Digital Systems, 2027, Amiens), a work-study student currently enrolled in PAUC (Automatic Production and Connected Factory), also gave a talk. Initially hesitating between PAUC and EEDD (Electrical Energy and Sustainable Development), he says he's happy with his place in the company, where he's involved in both fields. His integration was facilitated by a day dedicated to work-study students, a key moment for strengthening the bond between the 400 young people in post throughout France.
Sandrine was accompanied by Cyril Vilain, Site Manager, Brenda Covindassamy and Olivia Kirchmann from Human Resources, who presented the company's four fundamental pillars, which are not just words, but concrete anchors in the way the company operates:
Safety,
Operational excellence,
Bold and responsible development,
Human energies,
These pillars underpin Idex's strong values: audacity, agility, team spirit and entrepreneurial passion,
With its human approach and varied missions, Idex is an ideal entry point for young graduates wishing to contribute to the energy transition in a booming, forward-looking industry .
