Marion, second place at the AGREEN INSTAL

At the AGREEN INSTAL organized by the Normandy Chamber of Agriculture, Marion LECHEVIN (Agriculture, 2023, Rouen) took second place for her Sol Vivant project, which aims to develop a mixed crop and livestock farm with a focus onregenerative agriculture.

The aim is to preserve the soil and promote sustainable agricultural practices, such as :

Covering the soil as much as possible,
Practicing direct seeding,
Use organic fertilizers,
Planting hedges to enhance biodiversity.

After an initial one-minute pitch to present her project, Marion was joined by a team of six people. All day long, they worked together to improve her project, reflect on her installation and prepare a final three-minute pitch. These exchanges provided her with a wealth of advice and ideas on how to move forward.

The special feature of her project lies in her YouTube channel, Marion SMC, where she talks about her daily life as a farmer. She explains thechallenges of the profession, the solutions she explores for a more environmentally-friendly agriculture, and shows a realistic vision of life on the farm.
