Farming with commitment and passion

Nicolas VAQUEZ (Agriculture, 2009, Rouen) is featured in "Terres d'Aujourd'hui et de Demain", a series produced by the Direction Départementale des Territoires et de la Mer de l'Eure. The series aims to highlight the department's agricultural careers and trades.

This episode looks back at Nicolas' career. Before becoming an organic dairy farmer at the "Le Nofy" farm in Bourg-Achard, the Alumni worked for groups such as Lepicard and Natup, always with a view to promoting organic farming. But driven by a new vision of entrepreneurship in agriculture, in 2019 he is taking over a farm. The farmer explains how he has benefited for several years from the support of the Terre de Liens organization, which helps farmers gain access to land for environmentally-friendly farming projects. This support enables him to concentrate on his farm and the various changes he can make to it.
