On Saturday October 5, UniLaSalle Beauvais celebrated its 170th anniversary withan exceptional day that brought together nearly 1,650 people, including 695 alumni, 705 students and 125 employees, some accompanied by their families.

The festivities kicked off at 10am with a gourmet welcome, putting everyone in a warm mood. Sports enthusiasts enjoyed a friendly rugby match in the morning, marking a special moment for current and former students.

Under a radiant sky, all participants gathered around a giant barbecue. Then it was off to the Agora, where Philippe CHOQUET (Agriculture, 1987, Beauvais), UniLaSalle's Managing Director, and Valérie LEROUX (Agriculture, 1990, Beauvais), UniLaSalle's Deputy Managing Director, gave a moving retrospective of the past 170 years, accompanied by Brother Jacques D'HUITREAU, recalling the major stages in the school's evolution.

Antoine PAJOT (Agriculture, 2001, Beauvais), President of the UniLaSalle Alumni Association, also spoke about the importance of networking.

The afternoon was filled with tours of the campus aboard a miniature train, allowing everyone to discover or rediscover the establishment's innovative platforms: the milk processing workshop, the Foodlab, APEX, the Ferme du Bois...

At the end of the day, everyone gathered at the historic farmhouse for a convivial cocktail. Over drinks, alumni, students and employees shared their memories of their years at UniLaSalle, in an atmosphere of nostalgia and camaraderie.

The dinner was attended by more than 1,200 people, in a wild atmosphere where the most talented (or daredevil) singers were accompanied by hundreds of backup singers.

A magnificent firework display then lit up the sky, marking the start of the evening's dancing, which continued well into the night.

The school celebrated its 170th anniversary in style - see you in 5 years.
